A 13-story mosque at Ground Zero is a despicable attempt by Islamic extremists to build a shrine to the 9/11 terrorists on the very ground where they slaughtered more than three thousand Americans. 

If built, this mosque will become a beacon of Islamic Jihad, a milepost of America's humiliation and suffering, and a recruitment tool for future jihadists.

I stand with those who oppose the construction of a mosque at Ground Zero and who are working to protect the sacred memory of 9/11 victims.

I will work to spread the word about this dispicable plan and to defeat it.
